What once was a dream, became reality in the winter of 2011 for Ashley Erickson. Ashley started her snocross career late in the 2010/11 season with UCMA Racing circuit. With 2011 / 12 being her first full season she competed in the full ISOC MN Regional circuit in the States, where she brought home the Pro Am Woman Championship. In the 2012/13 season she was plagued with a couple of injuries, which sidelined her for 6 weeks. She ended up competing in 4 Nationals and 5 Regionals. In the 2013/14 season she will compete in 6 of the ACS Nationals and the showdown at sundown. She has competed in 9 of the 12 MN Regionals. The MN Regional season has come to a close, and once again Ashley was crowned the Pro Am Woman Championship. Ashley finished off the nationals with a 5th in the points standings.
" Snocross racing is something that most people will never understand. It's not just a sport or something to do on the weekends. It's a way of life. Once you're in it, it's in your blood. Once you make your first lap you can't stop. The snocross track is home away from home. You smell that race fuel and hear the engines roar. When you hear those engines scream it's music to your ears."
